Getting to the School of Music, University of Leeds

On the campus guide we are location 75 *Music and Clothworkers' Centenary Concert Hall.

Directions from Leeds Railway Station to The School of Music

Taxi – there is a well serviced taxi rank at the front of the station. The journey should take c. 10-15mins and would be approx. £8

Walk – it is 1.5 miles and c. 20-30min walk.  Use Google maps and plug in the post code LS2 3AR.

Car parking

It is possible to park on campus, but you need to let me know so I can book you in. It’s a flat rate of £7 for the day. (https://carparking.leeds.ac.uk/visitors/)

Please email me (a.e.greasley@leeds.ac.uk) with your full name and details of your car (make/model, colour, registration number) by 7th November 2pm. I will then be given a code that you can use to pay before you leave.

PLEASE NOTE: It’s essential that you don’t just drive onto campus and then try and sort it out because ANPR is operation and the fine is £80.

 There is other car parking nearby that doesn't require pre-booking. Woodhouse Lane multistorey (LS2 3AX) which is £7 (for 6hrs) or £8 (for 12hrs).

In both of these car park locations, payment is by card (or in the case of the multistorey, by card and by phone).  

Lunch

There are several places to get a sandwich within a 5 minute walk from the School (e.g. EDIT room, 2mins walk, Bakery 164, 5mins walk, Tesco 5mins walk). We will give you more details about these on the day, and our helpers will be happy to show the way!
